We will offer certification in Adult, Infant & Child CPR and First Aid. You may choose to take one or all of the course modules. Please see the schedule below to choose what you would like to sign up for. If you have any questions about the courses, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Course Descriptions *On the day of the event, please sign in at the Participant Table in the foyer of McCombs School of Business (CBA). Adult CPR: For individuals who need adult CPR training only, this hands-on skills training prepares students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.
Infant & Child CPR: Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 8 years of age.
First Aid: Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course focuses on adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as reference tools in an emergency.
